Dentures are a full (or partial) row of teeth set in a gum-colored base. After an impression is taken, we will work with our dental lab where a custom denture will be fabricated to fit your mouth. Traditional dentures require adhesive to stay in place, but some patients prefer a more stable prosthetic. Dr. Carter offers implant-retained dentures, which anchor to implants placed in the jawbone. Dental implants can also support partials and bridgework. Implant-retained dentures won't slip out of place, and caring for them is simple.
