At what age should my child see a dentist for the first time?
When your child gets his or her first tooth, it’s time to make an appointment with your family’s dentist. It’s never too early to be concerned about your child’s oral health, and even having just one tooth is a good enough reason to pay a visit to the office. If your child hasn’t developed any teeth before his or her first birthday, this may also be an indicator that a dental check-up is necessary.
Dr. Carter and her staff maintain a very friendly environment that makes visiting the dentist enjoyable for all. We’d love to see you and your little one for his or her first dental exam!
