Don’t rush when you brush.
Brushing your teeth is something most of us try to get done quickly right as we’re about to run out the door or crawl into bed. But this simple daily activity is the most basic way we can keep our smiles healthy! Most dentists, including Dr. Carter, recommend brushing at least twice a day for at least two minutes. Brushing with a sturdy toothbrush (electric ones are the best!) helps to remove plaque that can build up and cause decay on your teeth, and it can even help your breath smell better! Don’t take brushing your teeth for granted–it could help make your smile last a lifetime!
